What is the water temperature like on the rivers?

Rivers in Costa Rica are made by natural springs and rainfall, which typically keeps the water temperatures around 65F, or warmer. Special outfits are not needed, but appropriate wear is recommended, such as: synthetic clothing like sport type, or bathing suits, sunblock and an extra set of dry clothing for after your trip.
