Description
The Rio Pacuare is among the most famous rivers in the world. The remote river is encapsulated by thick tropical rainforest and is home to the indigenous Cabecar tribe and unique flora and fauna. In one day, you will travel 19 miles through deep canyon walls surrounded by verdant rainforest filled with wildlife such as toucans, sloths, monkeys, jaguars, and so much more.
We will provide a well-balanced and scrumptious lunch on the banks of the river where you can swim, sunbath, or just relax and take in the magnificent surroundings.
The clear and vibrant blue water tumbles through lush gorges with adrenaline pumping class III-IV rapids. Cascading waterfalls pour in on the sides of the river creating magical atmosphere. There are few places in the world as special as this!
